Favorite meal to cook my fiance is breakfast! Specifically, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, and eggos. Wedding date: 03-01-11
My favorite meal is dessert. Does that count? :)
I won my fiance over with Shortbread Tarts with Cream Cheese Filling before I even really knew him.
That's what we love to make now!
Wedding date: 7-2-11
I won my husband with my homemade spaghetti.
From my Bon Appetit magazine a few years ago, I found a terrific recipe for Pretzel-Crusted Pork Chops with Orange-Mustard Sauce from the Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek, Colorado. I first served it to friends who helped me move into my new CO home and it's become a most-requested recipe for guests. Hearty and impressive, but most of the prep work can be done in advance so it's not intimidating.
My husband and I will celebrate one year next month: wedding date was 11.2.08. I'm now planning weddings myself. Once the bug bites, it doesn't let up!
On one of our first dates, my fiance made Pineapple-Upside Down Cake for me because it is his favorite. Now it's a tradition to make it for our little celebrations.
I love to cook stuffed portobellos with Italian sausage, homemade marinara and fresh mozzerella baked on top. My fiance said it's the best thing I've ever cooked him, and I make him a lot of things!!!

My favorite room to spend time with my Evan, my Fiance - is definitely the kitchen!! This is where our chemistry starts and simmers - for sure : )
Our tastiest dish to cook is a creamy, cheesy, linguine full of and veggies from our garden. It is our favorite because it takes all evening to make. Which means we get to hang out drinking wine around the kitchen while feeding each other taste tests of the sauce to decide when it is perfect! I also enjoy sharing this meal with friends and family because since there is so much labor involved it is easy to taste all the love Evan and I have put into it! .....Oh yes, and it's delicious!!!
Our wedding date is June 24, 2010
My Fiance's favorite meal is my spaghetti and meatballs. Though his ex is italian, he swears that mine are the best he has ever tasted!
My favorite dish to cook is homemade Chicken Noodle Soup! Being from Ohio, it gets pretty cold up here and there is nothing I love more than curling up on the couch with my fiance and eating a big bowl of soup while we plan our upcoming wedding... (and by "we" I mean, I plan and he just agrees with everything). We are getting marred May 22, 2010 and it can't come soon enough!
Wedding Date: 5/22/10
I love making my fiance's lasagna...it is the family recipe, so I always feel so wife-like when I make it for us!
My favorite dinner dish to fix (and enjoy) with my fiance is my Spaghetti and Meatballs!
My fiance and I love making homemade pizza together. We make the crust and everything. It's fun! Our wedding is May 15, 2010.
I love making my fiance chicken divan. We're getting married May 29, 2010.
My favorite meal to make is turkey tacos! I use soft tortillas, turkey hamburger, taco seasoning, sour cream, and salsa. It's absolutely delicious! My fiance' loves it and so do all of our guests! It's so quick and easy to make, it's great if you have a lot of company! We are very recently engaged (Oct. 11th!) and are planning to get married June 1st of 2011.
we're getting married july 31, 2010. although it's "easy," i love making italian meals, pasta, chicken parm, etc.
no one can deny a good italian meal!

I love cooking breakfast burritos for my fiance. I moved to NC from NM, so I love giving him a little taste of the state. Our wedding date is 10/24/09. Just around the corner!! :oD
We love to make rib eye steak with a sauce with caramelized onions and blue cheese it is to die for!!! Our wedding date is 1/9/09 we are very excited!!
I had made my now fiance "engagement chicken" before we were engaged. Not that I believe in all that but it was fun. And now it's our favorite chicken to eat, we laugh every time.
I'm with Cassandra--my favorite thing to make is dessert. :) I especially love making seasonal desserts--light lemon chiffon cake in the summer with fresh raspberries and whipped cream, sweet-potato spice cake or apple crisp in the fall, bread pudding in winter, and lovely cupcakes in the spring. Baking makes me so happy.
Thanks for doing this giveaway!

Ever since we've been engaged, I've made a challah every Friday so that we can celebrate Shabbat together. I love making bread for my man and starting a new week with him on a fresh foot! We're getting married 10.10.10.
My absolute favorite is homemade pesto spaghetti and grilled steak served with a nice glass of red wine. The pesto simply requires a dose of great quality olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, sprinkling of sea salt and a handful of fresh basil.
Although my fiance and I come from different backgrounds and our first languages are quite different, the dish allows us to communicate our love non-verbally. This dish has a special way of inspiring us and those who we share it with to recognize and appreciate the simple things in life. Though so many things may get lost or lost in translation, this dish (and other homemade foods) time and time again has been able to bring a smile on everyone's faces.
