3 Unique Ways to Create a Personalized Wedding Ceremony
Did you know that some of the most popular wedding accessories can easily be incorporated into your wedding day to create a unique and memorable ceremony that has it's very own personal touch? Today, I'm happy to have The Wedding Outlet joining me in sharing the Top 3 Unique Ways to Create a Personalized Wedding Ceremony.

1. Unique Wedding Ceremonies

Traditional weddings call for the couple to celebrate their union with a wedding unity candle. Trending alternatives to a unity candle include Love Letter Ceremony, Sand Ceremony Sets, Decanter Wine Ceremony, Red Rose Ceremony and more.

The three-piece Decanter Wine Ceremony Set that you see above is a perfect way to integrate wine into your ceremony. It also makes a perfect keepsake gift for the newlyweds. The set includes a personalized fluted decanter and two personalized toasting flutes. Each one is engraved with a monogram {in your font choice}. This decanter set can be used after the wedding too for holiday celebrations, anniversaries, birthday, or any special event that includes wine.

2. Ring Pillow Alternatives

While Flower Baskets and Ring Bearer Pillows are still very popular, children today are making their way down the aisle with customized banners, ring boxes or kissing balls. These ring pillow and flower basket alternatives are certainly a crowd pleaser and make a statement just before the bride walks down the aisle.

3. Custom Aisle Runners

An aisle runner makes a wonderful focal point and runway for the bride. When you use a customized aisle runner for your ceremony, you can tastefully add a personal touch to a highly visual area. The personalized runner will look amazing in your photos too.

Which of these 3 Unique Ideas will you be including in your wedding to make it special and personalized?

Farmers Market Wedding Ideas {15 Fun Ways to Use Local Resources}

Happy Monday. Hope all of my readers had a terrific weekend. I was originally going to put together an inspiration board with just lettuce ideas for weddings. But, then we {myself and hubby along with our two girls} went to a local farmer's market this weekend, I decided to expand the inspiration (with 15 ideas). "Farm to Table" is a big hit lately - especially with it being peak season for Farmers Markets. I thought it would be fun to show you how "fresh produce" and summer florals can be used at your own wedding {or party} to bring the tastes and smells of the season to your event. And, of course you will find some fun paper goodies to tie the entire theme together.

Unique Bridal Shower Idea : Host a Hot Chocolate Party

Happy 2013. A brand new year is here and that means another year of wedding inspiration has begun. A very happy welcome to all the newly engaged brides that are stopping by my blog for their first time. Over the past week we've had two snowstorms so I've been enjoying my hot cocoa at night to stay warm. That got me thinking about a fun and unique bridal shower theme for the winter months. Why not have a hot chocolate party? It would be so fun to set up a little hot chocolate bar with all the fixings including . . . hot chocolate flavor mixes, candy canes/peppermint sticks {since I think they're fun to have all winter long and they're on clearance right now in the stores}, fun marshmallow flavors, candy coated stirrers, whipped cream and assorted sweet goodies.

The perfect favor idea would be to serve each guest their hot cocoa in a monogrammed mug that they can take home with them as a gift. If you're feeling artistic, you might like to draw an illustration on each mug with a sharpie. Or better yet, have a crafting table set up before the hot chocolate is served. Let your guests create their very own unique mug design. Since it only takes 30 minutes in the oven at 350 degrees to "bake on" your sharpie design, each guest could have their hot cocoa in a specially personalized mug {just be sure to have the mugs cool before using and let guests now they are hand wash only}. You might consider porcelain pens instead of sharpies if desired.

Since you will want to invite your guests in style, I've gathered up my favorite hot chocolate party invitations from etsy. Now, it's time to get your chocolate fixings together and throw a party :)
