"Celebrity Gown Predictions" with sketches by St. Pucchi Designer

While I'm still off this week enjoying time with my family - I wanted to end the week with something fun and artistic. Hollywood stars Kim Kardashian, Kate Hudson, and Jessica Simpson are just a select few that are about to walk down the aisle. What do you think they will wear? Rani Totman of St. Pucchi has sketched her predictions for these three ladies. You can see the lovely sketches below with Rani’s predictions and why she chose these styles. {seeing these dress sketches makes me want to get back into sketching more - looks like I have something to look forward to when I return to work next week}

Kim Kardashian
One reason we all love Kim is that she is never afraid to show off her curves. It’s no question Kim will opt for a mermaid gown to accentuate her curvaceous figure. A long train and lots of embellishments on the bodice stay true to Kim’s love for Old Hollywood style and glamour.

Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson loves to show skin, but always leans toward a boho chic style. A plunging neckline or open back dress with a slimming design and intricate detailing would be our prediction for the blonde bombshell.

Jessica Simpson
We think the future Mrs. Eric Johnson is going to have fun with her dress, but stick to something elegant and semi-traditional.  We can see her in a mermaid style strapless gown that highlights her curves. The boning and corset style structure of the dress would provide a slimming effect to her 5’3” frame.

Eye Candy Friday : v105 {ostrich feathers, rhinestones + crystal beading}

Today's Eye Candy Friday is a bit different - but equally stunning. St. Pucchi Designer Rani Totman {who you may remember from the latest issue of The Best Wedding Sites Magazine} recently designed the dream wedding gown for the Tony Romo-Candice Crawford Nuptials.

the original gown design can be seen above - please click for a larger version

St. Pucchi designer Rani Totman designed a custom wedding gown for Candice Crawford's nuptials to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on May 28th at Arlington Hall in Dallas, TX.

The gown, from St. Pucchi's couture collection, was customized to create a one-of-a-kind dress of Candice's dreams. Working closely with Rani Totman and in collaboration with exclusive retailer Stardust Celebrations, Candice opted for a natural off-white version of the sleeveless ball gown with regal Queen Anne collar and deep-V neckline.  The dress is crafted with 100% pure silk duchess satin, a textured bodice that showcases hand crafted dimensional cutwork embroidery in a floral pattern accented with delicate ostrich feathers, rhinestone jewels, and crystal beading. The bodice was customized to include a keyhole back and complemented by a luxurious draped voluminous skirt with a detachable semi-cathedral train.

Crawford knew from the start the exact dress she wanted having kept a photo of her dream gown for many years. Crawford was drawn to the Dallas headquartered bridal house St. Pucchi for its Couture craftsmanship, calling her dress "a work of art".

"Working with Candice on her wedding gown was a true pleasure," said Totman. "It was an incredible experience watching the dress come to life on her. Candice has a true eye for styles that accentuate her natural beauty."
