Real Wedding : it's all about Feng Shui w/Buddhist Ceremony

Today's amazing Real Wedding comes to us from Ananda Lima Photography and features a Buddhist ceremony. Janie and Ray followed their Chinese heritage and picked a date that gave them good luck. They also wanted to make sure they stuck to good Feng Shui for their wedding. The bride prepped for the wedding at the Carlton at Madison with her two bridesmaids (her sister and a good friend). Check out those shoes - wow!!! And, what a gorgeous bride! When they were ready, Ray and his groomsman came to see the bride and then the group had pictures taken together before the ceremony.
The ceremony and reception were held in different rooms at the Terrace on the Park at Flushing Meadows Park. The colors are absolutely breathtaking with the elegant recurring theme of deep red, white and crystal. The wedding had elements of a traditional Buddhist ceremony, along with the couple incorporating elements of their own. The peaceful ceremony was led by 3 monks and from there, guests headed to a gorgeous reception hall for an evening of food, music and dancing.
A big thank you to Ananda for sharing this wedding with us - it's beautiful. And, congratulations to Ray and Janie. To see more from Ananda Lima Photography, please visit her web site and blog.
