Wedding Trend: Personalization in Unexpected Places

Your wedding day is all about you. Show off your fabulous style by personalizing some of your wedding accessories. From your ceremony to reception, The Wedding Outlet has a variety of accessories that will compliment your personal taste. Whether it's a gorgeous colored ribbon accent across your guestbook or a beautifully embroidered monogram atop your ring pillow, these personal touches will make wonderful keepsakes.

One of The Wedding Outlet's favorite ways to add a personal touch is with their popular stationery collections. Coordinate all your wedding stationery with the DIY wedding stationery collections. Choose from matching place cards, save the date cards, note cards, wedding programs, window clings and more.

Personalized wedding napkins are an easy way to add a special touch to your reception. Personalized napkins come in two sizes: beverage napkins (5"x 5") and luncheon napkins (6"x 6"). Personalize these wedding napkins with your names and wedding date, monogram or single initial. You can also select a picture that matches your wedding theme and there are over 29 colors to choose from.

A wedding banner will take your decor to a new level. Coordinate the banner to match your wedding colors and personalize it with your names, wedding date or monogram. These wedding banners are great for adding a special touch to both the reception site and church. You may also want to consider using a wedding table runner for the church altar.

The Wedding Outlet adds new items to their site each week. So be sure to check back to see the hottest trends for 2012 and 2013 weddings and find the latest wedding ceremony and reception accessories.

Larger-than-life reception tables will be a focal point of weddings this summer. Ariston Flowers and Events showcased this trend with sky-high tiered cylinders filled with all-white calla lilies, dripping with orchids and crystal. David Tutera also opted for larger-than-life with his reception table designed for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings complete with weeping willow branches, hanging glass orbs and floating candles, creating a truly whimsical effect. Extraordinary Productions revealed that all-white tables with crystal accents will be the ultimate trend for Summer 2012 by creating branches encrusted with crystal surrounded by white tulips and hydrangea. In-Tents Rentals revealed that brides will opt for over-the-top canopies complete with white ostrich feathers, dripping with orchids.

As for Pantone’s prediction that Tangerine will be the color of 2012, Betty’s Total Events utilized shades of tangerine and coral over exotic coral linen to accent their luxe all-white tiered reception table with striking pops of color. Priam Vineyards also looked to Pantone’s prediction by accenting their rustic reception table with tangerine and coral florals.

As for Wedding Day Couture, Jaehee Bridal Atelier revealed that brides will look to Princess and Vintage Gowns by showcasing classic Kenneth Pool ballgowns and Jenny Packham’s sleek silhouettes with crystal and sequined accents. As for wedding day beauty, Kiss explained that red nails and fake eyelashes will be a hot trend for brides this upcoming season.

The Morris Truck showcased a key trend for late night weddings – grilled cheese as a late-night favor before the guests head home, while Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs revealed that finger food and cocktail-style receptions will be a huge trend with brides opting for finger foods including Roquefort-crusted grape hors d’oeuvres. As for dessert, brides are looking for new treats for their guests such as cake-cups from Bee’s Knees Baking Company showcasing “Comfort-Food” flavors such as Peanut Butter and Jelly & Honey Bourbon.

Showing that a Beach Wedding will never go out of style, The Wedding Salon featured the biggest names in Destination Weddings and Honeymoons including St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, Mexico Tourism Board, Palace Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotels, Caribbean and Mexico, The Islands of the Bahamas, and The Leading Hotels of The World highlighting their amazing properties as the go-to destinations for Summer 2012.
