A Laid Back + Unique Colorado Wedding with a Bride in a Maroon Hat

Today's wedding, photographed by Annabelle Denmark Photography, took place at the Stone Mountain Lodge in Lyons, Colorado where there's little cabins and a pond. Amber and Jon wanted a laid back wedding and to be surrounded by their friends and family. The bride also wanted to wear a maroon hat - I LOVE this, even the guests showed up in their hats. Amber, herself is very creative as she made her own flowers and jewelry. Even though the ceremony was re-located into the tent because of rain - the union of Amber and Jon was celebrated with speeches, tears and lots of dancing.

A Southern Fairytale Wedding {planned by the bride herself}

This real wedding is absolutely beautiful and is a true southern fairytale wedding - photographed to perfection by Pasha Belman Photography. The bride and groom {Tara and Brian} had big plans for their wedding, but those big plans also came with a hefty price. The brides writes . . . "Things changed after I had a near death experience with my health. It opened my eyes to what was really important about this wedding, which was marrying the man who never left my side as I lay in a hospital bed for days. After I was released from the hospital, my plans changed. I decided not to use a wedding planner, and actually took the whole wedding planning process into my own hands. I started doing tons of research on different wedding blogs and websites and found the most gorgeous bed and breakfast in historic Georgetown, South Carolina known as Mansfield Plantation. It was a beautiful plantation, where scenes from “The Notebook” were shot. Just minutes from the Bed and Breakfast, there’s another planation, known as Wedgefield Plantation. It’s a stunning wedding venue with live oak trees and the Manor House that was perfect for our blush and gold, southern wedding."
