A Classic Southern Wedding on a Family Farm in South Carolina

Today's featured wedding, photographed by Hannah Ruth Photography LLC, is absolutely gorgeous and features one of my favorite wedding flowers - pink peonies. The wedding was held on the 50 acre family farm of the brides- and the bride's father and groom worked together to turn the former horse barn into a dream farm wedding venue. The ceremony took place down the hill from the home and overlooked a beautiful waterfront. The wedding was topped off with southern home-cooked food and BBQ.

The bride herself is a wedding calligrapher and knew exactly how she wanted to decorate the venue and set the tone for their wedding day. She incorporated blush, ivory and gold with the green and yellow of the lemons, limes and rosemary complementing the neutral tone perfectly.

The bride and her dad won the crowd with the surprise of the evening when they swayed to Forever Young before busting moves to Uptown Funk. They both kept it a secret while attending dance lessons for a month.

A Hot Pink + Blue Arizona Wedding in the Middle of Thunderstorms

Today's featured wedding of Pam and Lanny {from Arkansas} took place in Sedona, Arizona at Cathedral Rock. The scenery at the ceremony site is absolutely breathtaking - which resulted in gorgeous photos from Taryn of Love My Life Photography. Even though mother nature had plans of her own - the couples joy and happiness never waivered. There was a severe thunderstorm before the ceremony, a severe thunderstorm warning during the ceremony, and buckets of rain poured down after the ceremony. There was a brief parting in the skies for the couple to be wed. After their ceremony - the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock.

A Southern Fairytale Wedding {planned by the bride herself}

This real wedding is absolutely beautiful and is a true southern fairytale wedding - photographed to perfection by Pasha Belman Photography. The bride and groom {Tara and Brian} had big plans for their wedding, but those big plans also came with a hefty price. The brides writes . . . "Things changed after I had a near death experience with my health. It opened my eyes to what was really important about this wedding, which was marrying the man who never left my side as I lay in a hospital bed for days. After I was released from the hospital, my plans changed. I decided not to use a wedding planner, and actually took the whole wedding planning process into my own hands. I started doing tons of research on different wedding blogs and websites and found the most gorgeous bed and breakfast in historic Georgetown, South Carolina known as Mansfield Plantation. It was a beautiful plantation, where scenes from “The Notebook” were shot. Just minutes from the Bed and Breakfast, there’s another planation, known as Wedgefield Plantation. It’s a stunning wedding venue with live oak trees and the Manor House that was perfect for our blush and gold, southern wedding."
