Couples actually DO want to elope to Vermont! New Elopement Package at The Old Tavern at Grafton Inn

Vermont Country Weddings Come in All Shapes & Sizes - The Old Tavern at Grafton inn Offers New Elopement Package

The Old Tavern at Grafton, an historic Vermont country inn located in the southeast corner of the state, announced today a new elopement package for couples wishing to be married in picturesque Vermont, without the traditional fanfare of a large wedding.

“While our inn is known for hosting Vermont country weddings as big as 150, we talk with couples regularly enough who would prefer to have a simple, intimate wedding,” explained Kathy Cray, the inn’s wedding coordinator and co-innkeeper. “So we have created a new package to accommodate them. We joke that they provide the ladder and we take care of all the details.”

The Elopement Package at The Old Tavern consists of:

· Two nights lodging in a suite (suites have either a double Jacuzzi or a double soaking tub).

· Arrival gift, including a bottle of champagne and Old Tavern bathrobes.

· A full Vermont country breakfast each morning.

· Dinner for two each night, including a three course meal with a bottle of wine.

· Justice of the Peace and flowers.

Price is $1,150.00 for the package (not including taxes or gratuities).

“There is no reason why couples can’t enjoy all that Vermont has to offer, while keeping their special day private and romantic,” continued Cray. “No wedding is too small to celebrate.”
