New Agreement Brings Local Hotel’s Catering Services to Historic Mansion
Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky did it – now you, too, can get married at a mansion, and on nearly any budget. Lyndhurst and the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown recently signed a catering agreement that brings fine food to the stunning location, which is a National Trust Historic site.
“This partnership brings our high level of services to one of the most beautiful venues right here in the Hudson Valley,” said Linda Ferone, Director of Catering at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown. “Lyndhurst has gorgeous grounds and a very unique facility, and we are excited to bring our wedding expertise to couples getting married there. Our goal is for each couple to have their dream wedding – no exceptions.”
“The DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown has an excellent reputation for planning and executing events,” said John H. Braunlein, Director at Lyndhurst. “We are pleased to recommend their services to our brides and grooms.”
Couples getting married at Lyndhurst have the option to have the ceremony and reception at one venue. Ceremonies can take place in the Rose Garden or on the lawn in front of the mansion.
Weddings at Lyndhurst include a one-hour cocktail reception, champagne toast, a customized wedding cake, votive candles, and white or ivory floor length linens and napkins and more. In addition, the DoubleTree will offer a discounted rate for out of town guests and complimentary overnight accommodations for the bride and groom, provided a qualified number of rooms are booked at the hotel.
