Jenn Shares her Favorite Holiday Tradition with us . . .
The holidays are such an amazing time...there's even a special smell in the air that's just magical. There are dozens of traditions that just make my heart all warm and cozy, with Julian and my wedding around the corner, one in particular does stand out a little. I grew up in Northern California and every year around Christmas, my family would go to San Francisco and ice skate. We would dress up (we never went to the city without our coats and gloves) and it was just...it was always like a fairytale. As we all got older, working around everyone's schedules started to make it difficult. Last year, I brought Julian up north to go ice skating with my family. The night before my brother in law took him dirt bike riding and Julian injured his back and was unable to skate. Well...I found out a couple weeks later that he had planned on proposing to me on the ice skating rink with my family all around. (He ended up proposing on New Years Day) You better believe this year, we're keeping our ice skating in the city tradition alive...no dirt bikes allowed.
