French Quarter of New Orleans Wedding with bride in turquoise bolero

Today's wedding of Seth and Jen is absolutely gorgeous. It took place in the heart of the french quarter in New Orleans and was beautifully photographed by Brett of Siegel Thurston Photography. Now living in San Diego, Seth and Jen had met in New Orleans in their college days. So, there was no question that they would be having their wedding in the city that's full of history. They even did their own florals by picking them up from a flower shop. And, wait until you see the bride in her turquoise bolero - she looks absolutely stunning. I love it!!!!!! {PS: I think I found the etsy shop where it's from, will check on that and post an update}

Update: the designer of the turquoise bolero has been found :) It's designed by Mary and Angelika in Tel-Aviv, Israel on etsy.

And, as Brett Siegel writes . . . "In true New Orleans style they also hired the coolbone Jazz band to play the wedding, Second line, and reception."

Real Wedding : droplets of love in turquoise + black in West Virginia

You are going to LOVE today's wedding of Amanda and Cameron - just wait until you see the last few photos, they truly are works of art. So please be sure to scroll down to see them. I know you are going to say OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!! And, of course there's many other amazing photos along the way - the brides black shoes with the pop of turquoise, the detailed beading on her dress - oh, and we can't forget the brides nails that match her wedding colors :) Photography is by Ever After Visuals and the wedding was held at the local firehall.

And, now it's time for Amanda {aka Mandy} and Cameron to meet for the first time on their wedding day :)

I'd definitely say that the mother and daughter team {Mindy and Joriana} of Ever After Visuals made the best out of the rainy day. Aren't the two photos above amazing?

Eye Candy Friday : v48 {turquoise, silver and white table setting)

With Pantone unveiling turquoise as the color of the year for 2010, I thought this table setting from Eddie Ross was a perfect use of the color. I love how the turquoise doesn't overpower this table setting, as turquoise is a rather bold color and can easily become too much.
