A Virginia Beach Wedding with a Stunning Brooch and Fabric Floral Bouquet
Today's real wedding of Ashley and Jason took place at Cavalier Yacht and Country Club in Virginia Beach and they said their vows at Trinty Church with a super fun confetti filled exit. Between the ceremony and reception, Ross Costanza Photography headed with the bride and groom to the historic Cavalier Hotel at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for some great photo opportunities. I love the lace wrapped fabric bouquet with rhinestone/brooch centers. And, the couples first look was actually a first "touch" as they reached around a door and held hands. This is super sweet and I think it makes the walk down the aisle even more exciting.
A Peach, Purple and Gold Mansion Wedding at a Historic Venue in Virginia

Today's couple, Bailey and Ron, married on September 7th, 2013 - this is the same month and day that my hubby and myself married. So, when Bailey and Ron celebrate their first wedding anniversary this year, my hubby and I will be celebrating our 12th anniversary. Wow! Bailey and Ron were married under a large willow tree in front of the Woodlawn Mansion {which is a gorgeous historic venue in Virginia}. As each guest entered the wedding, they were welcomed by a table with some trinkets including a globe and a container of corks for the guests to sign. One of my favorite touches was the couples initials created with the favors which were jars of crab salt. Another cute idea is with the big basket of flip flops for dancing in - but the sign is the best part . . . "Help yourself to a pair of dancing shoes and leave your excuses under the table. Love R and B".

A DIY Purple & Green Virginia Wedding from Living Story Photography

Today's wedding of Erin and Michael features the love story of a high school cheerleader and football player who married in a full catholic mass. Following was an evening rustic reception with dinner and dancing at the Steveson Ridge. The color palette included deep purples, emerald green and marine blue. The place "cards" and cake stand were handmade by the groom himself from a tree trunk. He also created the centerpieces with a tree trunk and sawed off wine bottles with candles. The beautiful photos are by Living Story Photography.

An Elegant Outdoor Purple Wedding of two police officers in Virginia

Today's wedding features the love of Amanda and Sean, both police officers who have now relocated back to the DC metro area, where they originally met while on a temporary job. Three and half years later after a lot of long distance dating, they are now married. Their photographer, Mindy of Ever After Visuals writes . . . "Because of the type of work they do, these two live life to the fullest and treasure each moment - this was clearly evident in their personal vows."
