Wedding Images that Move : you have to see it to believe it
I have something totally unexpected to share with you today. Brazilian wedding photographers Grasi Favoreto and Dani Correa recently moved to the US and are creating wedding images that move. This technique is so amazing and gives couples a dream come true . . . the sensation of having a special piece of a moment alive and moving in a never ending way. It's fun . . . creative . . . and artistic. Below are just two examples of their photo creations in motion . . . you can see more at Love + Gifology from Rocker in Love.

These moving photos are created by mixing photo and film in one image, isolating static and moving elements before mending them smoothly together with a loop. These images can be used by couples on their personal wedding blogs and even shared on social media like Twitter, Instagram, G+, Pinterest and Tumblr. They're also the perfect photos for digital save the dates and they can even be used in digital portrait displays at home.

Vote for your "best of" wedding video contest for 2012

I have something fun to start your Friday {weekend} off with. I am honored and thrilled to have been asked to be the official media sponsor of this years "best of" wedding video contest from Absolute Media Productions. Details on the contest can be viewed in the video below {including instructions on how to vote for your favorite video}. But, it's pretty simple - you can watch all the videos and then select your favorite and start voting. While watching these videos I realized how much I miss not having hired a videographer for our own wedding. It's so fun to re-live the wedding day with photos, but seeing the real motion and talking from the big day is just as special.

The video that accumulates the most votes will receive a $500 Visa Gift Card. The winning couple will also have their video published and announced as the AMP "Best VIdeo" of 2012 on {as Absolute Media Productions words it} one of the top 50 wedding blogs in the world, {that's me, he he}. Such an honor. Plus, if the winning video accumulates over 25,000 plays, then Absolute Media Productions will match the $500 grand prize with an additional $500 donated to the charity of the winning couple's choice. That's why "sharing" is so important. To cast your vote, click the "share" button in the upper right hand corner of the video you wish to vote for.

Fiore Films - and a special offer for brides

For those of you in the New Jersey / New York area, I have got an amazing deal for you. If you happen to not be in this area - I've got a video that I know you are going to love. Fiore Films {creators of cinematic style wedding films, with a touch of edge} have a style that is quite fresh for brides in NJ and I have to say that the videos are truly mesmerizing. The videos that the husband and wife team put together are absolutely amazing and innovative. Below is a sample of one of their "Hot Shot" engagement session videos for you to take a peek at.

But, before the video, I have got to share with you a truly wonderful offer from Sharrone at Fiore Films: They will give away a free "Hot Shot" session (engagement shoot priced at $800) to any bride who mentions "" for the month of February & March.

And, now for the video (note: the beginning has a little bit before the actual taping and music starts) . . .
