Photo Shoot : an elegantly mix-n-matched vintage bridal shower

Today we move onto Day 5 of the April Wedding Vendor Challenge with a bridal shower tablescape and dessert display, plus a downloadable DIY. Today's talented team of Carey of Lasso'd Moon, Paige of Paige Hiller Photography and Jasper and Prudence Floral chose more muted tones in this month's color palette of bubble gum pink, mint green and robin's egg blue.

Today's beautiful spring bridal shower photo shoot took place at The Simon Pearce Restaurant in Quechee, Vermont. The shoot was held in The Loft which is a private room above their retail outlet and restaurant. The chef at the restaurant also made the delicious lemon tarts seen in some of the shots. All of the plates and vases are from the collection available at Simon Pearce's Gallery.

GREAT ADVICE FROM CAREY: Even though we had amazing resources, achieving the same look doesn’t need to be expensive. Mixed and matched plates and vases in the same color family would give you a similar feel. Desserts can be from anywhere (even a super market) and dressed up to look just as nice as something from a pastry shop - it’s really all about presentation and making the most of what you have.

The amazing bouquets and centerpieces were created by Tedd from Jasper and Prudence Floral and consisted of peonies, blue muscari (which looks similar to hyacinth), pink tulips, green dutch hydrangea, blue “Bella Donna” delphinium and geranium leaves. The carrot cake and fruit tarts came from the Woodstock Farmer’s Market, and the cupcakes were from Hannaford's super market. Carey of Lasso'd Moon created the invitation, dessert sign, advice cards and cupcake wrappers to coordinate with the color palette.

DIY DOWNLOAD FREEBIE: Today, Carey has provided the "Bridal Advice" cards for you to download. I love the idea of having this on the center of each guests plate. The circular card reads "Thank you for joining us! Please use this to leave words of advice". Simply print out the Bridal Advice Cards from Scribd, trim and leave one at each guests place setting. {the download link at Scribd is directly underneath the item's title in the right column}

Real Wedding : Tami and Mike in Vermont

Today we return to the Inn at the Round Barn Farm in Vermont for another Real Wedding, you can see previous Real Weddings at this scenic venue here, here, here, and here. The Wedding below of Tami and Mike took place on New Year's Eve. Wedding photographs by Curran Photography.

Their formal wedding party photographs were taken prior to the ceremony but the bride and groom did not see each other until the ceremony. I love the top 2 photos with the snow falling. And, the boots for the bride and bridesmaids are just too cute!
Beverages included Tami's Signature Blueberry Stoli and Pom Martini & Michael's Signature Bud Bottle. The main course offered 2 options: Grilled Tenderloin Filet Mignon With Pinot Noir and Roasted Shallot Sauce
or Garlic and Lemon Roasted Vermont Misty Knoll Chicken Breast on the Bone with Sun Dried Tomatoes, Artichoke Hearts, and Spinach. The evening concluded with a Sweet Endings dessert of Maple Crème Brulée Spoons Served with Shortbread Cookies and Freshly Roasted Coffees and Round Barn Liberty Teas - yummy!

Real Wedding Details : Arden and Daniel in VT

Earlier today I posted the Real Wedding of Arden and Daniel at the The Round Barn Farm in Vermont. Now, here's some lovely photos from Henrickson Photography Weddings of the wedding details - I'm so loving the bouquets . . .
Below: Name tags attached to 120 snow globes served a dual purpose as both place settings and favors.

Thank you to The Round Barn Farm in Vermont for sending me these beautiful weddings to showcase over the past 2 days.

For tomorrow - it's another Real Wedding . . . this time we head to New Jersey for a wedding coordinated by the lovely Jenny Orsini of Pampered Bride Weddings and photographed by CLB Photography.

Real Wedding : Arden and Daniel in VT

Today I continue with another Real Wedding from The Round Barn Farm in Vermont, a wonderfully scenic location for weddings. Yesterday, I featured a fall wedding that can be seen here. Today, it's the winter wedding of Arden and Daniel. They recently celebrated their 2nd anniversary and were married on December 30, 2007. For those of you that LOVE the bride's dress as much as I do - I found out it's a Monique Lhuillier gown. Want to read a little more about Arden and Daniel's wedding? Boston Magazine recently did a feature article on Real New England Weddings that included the couple with a list of their vendors. Their photographer was Henrickson Photography Weddings.
Below: I love the photo of the couple dancing!

Check back in a bit for the detail shots from Arden and Daniel's Vermont Winter Wedding.
