Peacock Wedding Table Setting Ideas with Copper, Teal and Cobalt Blue

Today's gorgeous Global Chic Holiday Tablescape from Bri of Half Pint Party Design is such a gorgeous design for a peacock wedding table setting. It's full of rich colors that are just spectacular for a wedding design during the holidays and winter months.

The focal point of this peacock tablescape is the spectacular white porcelain Peacock Garden Dinnerware Set. Did you know Peacocks are a historic emblem of nobility? I love the cobalt and copper colors Bri brought into this table setting with the teal beaded peacock velvet table runner. This is one spectacular find from Pier 1 Imports.

Other design elements include the chargers - these started out as gold chargers from Dollar Tree, and then Bri spray painted them with Krylon's Copper Rose. The utensils are faux copper cutlery from The Fulfilled Shop. Aren't they the perfect touch? And, those deep cobalt wine glasses? Bri not only found them at Dollar Tree, but she added the copper rim with Martha Stewart Craft paint.

One of my favorite finishing touches are the gold pomegranates that fill each bowl. Bri painted each one with a mix of Burnt Bronze and Glamorous Gold Edible Art Paint from The Baker’s Party Shop. A great decor tip from Bri . . . "Spray paint is amazing but when working with food, definitely use edible paints".

Mardi Gras Wedding Ideas : a fun and festive inspiring photo shoot

I have such a fun photo shoot to share with you today. As we get ready for Mardi Gras later this month {the 21st to be exact}, I have a Mardi Gras inspired wedding reception from a wonderful team in California. The inspiration was deep royal blues, plums, violet and green colors with masks, lots of glitter, and silver. As Tina of Weddings by Tina writes . . . "Think New Orleans, French Quarters, Bourbun street and live music, with feathers, bead work, glam and glitz, people having a grand ball of a time during the celebration all dressed up and the city comes to life with bold colors and lots of fun for everyone. This inspired us to create a very boisterous and lively menu along with an exotic centerpiece that included materials such as: Ornamental Kale, Vanda orchids, green Anthurium, Asclepia seed pods (green balls), privet berries, glittery lotus seed pods and corkscrew hazel." The beautiful menu is from Invitations by Ajalon. I'm loving the extra bling with the rhinestone on the mask.

Thank you to all the members that put this spectacular shoot together. The colors are just perfect for Mardi Gras and I love the peacock feathers and the Asclepia seed pods are just amazing for the perfect touch of green. Super unique and creative.

Peacock weddings are still a super popular theme with brides and for good reason. The colors for a peacock themed wedding are rich and stunning. The purple, teal and green look amazing together. And, at Daisy Days - you will definitely find a great selection of items for your peacock wedding - from invitations {that are plantable} to accessories and even the most delicate paper peacock placards.

This Peacock Unity Ceremony Masterpiece is so unique and it's a one-of-a-kind keepsake. This custom canvas with vibrant, jewel-toned peacock feathers can be used before, during or after your ceremony to "create a matchless memento commemorating the day you said "I Do"." You'll use a standard paint pen {in your color choice} to add in your words of hope, love and inspiration. The canvas is also available in three versions: with the text "I Promise To," "I Love You Because" or Blank.

This Peacock Feather Silk Wedding Ring Pillow features white silk accented with turquoise and purple ribbon and a lovely peacock feather. And, Brilliance Save the Date Magnet features an oceanside blue peacock design on an espresso background.

With peacocks being known for their beauty and graceful elegance, it's no surprise that peacock themed weddings and events are growing in popularity. And, if you're looking for the perfect elegant touch to your reception tables - you might want to consider these hand-made peacock place cards. These stylish place cards are designed to "perch" on the rim of the drink glasses.

If you're planning a peacock themed wedding, I'd love to hear about it. What special touches are you planning? And, speaking of peacocks - I am now off to the zoo with my daughter and her pre-school class. Heard they have peacocks so we'll be able to see at least one up close today :)
