Pretty Personalized Gift Packaging Makes All the Difference

Happy Monday. I am excited to share today's post with you as there's a super fun way to gift your wedding guests with some pretty packaging. Rebecca, of Thurston Post, recently held a giveaway on her instagram account and I was lucky to win one of her Gift Wrap Kits. When she sent me a sneak peek of what was coming my way {see below}, I fell in love. And, then when the package arrived in the mail and I saw it in person, I didn't even want to open it - it looked even prettier in person. But, I did end up opening the package because I couldn't wait to check out the beautiful paper goodies inside. Receiving a beautiful package with my own name on it was so exciting. Personalizing gifts {or favors} for your party and wedding guests is a definite way of catching their attention. It shows them you care and you took the time to gift them something special.

At Thurston Post, you will find a fun selection of handmade gift packaging, greeting cards, washi-covered mini clothespins, and even crafting supplies like doilies and bakers twine. Rebecca even accepts custom orders to create crafty packaging for weddings and even for branding your personal business. Thurston Post is definitely my kind of shop as I have a love of pretty paper goods and crafting supplies :)

The mini gift wrap kits that Rebecca offers makes gift wrapping a breeze and they start at just $10. You will receive adorable little tags, doilies, and washi/glitter covered mini clothespins and more {like sequins, bakers twine and glassine bags} to complete your packaging look.

Now, it's your turn - what will you wrap up in a pretty package with a gift wrap kit from Thurston Post?

festive-fetti™ is Here - It's Colorful, Custom + One-of-a-Kind Confetti

As my daughter would say . . . "I'm nervcited today" - this is her way of saying she's nervous and excited. So, I guess we will both be "nervcited" together today as it's a day of firsts for both of us. I'm launching something totally new and my daughter has her dance recital tonight at a brand new location in a fancy auditorium. So . . . without anymore waiting - I'm thrilled to announce that my very first product launch is officially here and The Festive Shop is now open for business. The first collection launching is cute bags of handmade festive-fetti™ {aka confetti}. These fun bags of custom colored confetti are meant for celebrating any day with because sometimes there’s a reason to party and sometimes we just need a little confetti to make us smile :)

Each festive-fetti™ bag contains at least 100 pieces of confetti and there's even sequins for a little extra sparkle. You can request custom colors and even the bag insert can be personalized. Each festive-fetti™ bag is unique to you . . . making it a one-of-a-kind gift. There's even a special bag just to celebrate the recent engagement of couple or the bride-to-be on her shower day {see below}. I can of course, change the wording to celebrate the wedding day if you wish :)

The ideas for these colorful circles of fun are endless - here's just a few ideas for using festive-fetti™:
• surprise a bride-to-be on her bridal shower day with a little bag inserted into her card
• sprinkle the confetti around the bottom of the bride-to-be's dessert at her bridal shower {ps: festive-fetti™ is not edible - just a fun decoration}
• have the bride-to-be either toss the festive-fetti™ in the air or blow it from her hands at her bridal shower or engagement session for a priceless photo
• place the festive-fetti™ inside of a clear balloon before filling it with air
• use the circles to embellish cards, gift tags or your craft projects
• businesses can even use the confetti as a token of thanks to their customers

Photo Shoot : pretty pink Valentine goodness

Pamela of Party Starters recently put together a cute little pink photo shoot to showcase her new party favor boxes. She chose pink since it's the "in" color for the year. And, her favor boxes are just the cutest. While this photo shoot originally started out to share Valentine products, the ideas presented are just perfect for bridal showers, weddings, and other parties too. After asking a few other party people to help her out, this is what Pamela put together and all of the party favor boxes, styling and photography is by Pamela Smerker herself of Party Starters.

The Custom Mini Banner by Piggy Bank Parties
The custom wine label is by Jennifer of Blush Printables

The macarons are by Susan from Green Eyed Susan

The adorable Sweet Pink Matchbox Favors, Valentine Mini Gable Box Favors, and Custom Mini Cupcake Favor Boxes that are shown above can all be found in Pamela's etsy shop for Party Starters.
