For the Guys: Trendy Ties for $15

I don't usually have a post dedicated to the guys, but when I received the following from The Tie Bar, I knew I had to pass along the information. New York Fashion Week is known for setting the tone for the fashion industry. And, for many, these fashions are a little out of our price range. But, thanks to The Tie Bar, they offer the same trendy ties from Fashion Week for only $15. For those on a budget, this is perfect! And, I'm loving the trend where the groom and his groomsmen wear printed ties (sometimes each groomsmen is in a tie of the same color, but a different pattern - as can be seen in this Real Wedding I featured last week)
Shown Above:
1st row: Brown and Blue Paisley, Brown and Pink Brocade and Purple Floral
2nd row: Amber Grid, Taupe and Brown Stripes, and Chocolate Pindots

Lead Designer and CEO of The Tie Bar, an online retailer of $15 silk ties, Greg Shugar is a neckwear expert with his finger on the pulse of new industry trends. "Men have started shopping outside their comfort zone and we expect Fall 2009 to start showing more and more florals, ranging from traditional florals and brocades to modern botanicals and organics," says Shugar. "The top color trend which men have seemed to warm up to is chocolate brown, a classic color that translates into all season and personal styles. We expect to see a lot more of it show in the Fall."

Shugar shows you how to get the Fashion Week 2009 look for less:

Pattern Trend: Floral - Real men wear floral! Fashion ridicule is a thing of the past for those wearing these Fall 2009 designer approved patterns.

Color Trend: Brown - These shades of brown are expected to headline the neckwear colors for Fall 2009

For those who want to know more, here's a little background on The Tie Bar:
Former lawyers and co-owners Greg and Gina Shugar launched The Tie Bar in 2004 after being fed up with paying a fortune for neckties. They created The Tie Bar to offer an affordable, stylish option for men looking to add to their wardrobe without the budget. The website offers hundreds of styles of 100% silk ties in a variety of colors and patterns for only $15 each. In addition to selling its ties, The Tie Bar also sells original design cufflinks, pocket squares and dress shirts, making it a one-stop-shop for business professionals and gift buyers.
