How To DIY Embellished "Will You Be My Bridesmaid" Printable Cards

I LOVE today's post I get to share with you - it has a little bit of everything I "heart" . . . {pink, bling, flower hair clips, washi tape + a Free Printable}. This is such a fun and pretty way to ask your future wedding party to be in your wedding. I have created a free "will you be my ..." download that contains cards for bridesmaid, maid of honor, matron of honor, and flower girl. The cards I'm sharing with you today were printed on patterned paper and those black and white polka dotted stripes? They were created with washi tape - super easy. Imagine the possibilities you could create with all the washi tape choices there are? Oh, and those GORGEOUS flowers? They are from Novia En Perla and come in sets of 2. Simply clip the flower to the printable I created and you have a fun and unique way of asking your attendants to be in your wedding. The flower clip can be worn on your wedding day or any day the recipient chooses. {you can purchase the flower clips here}

The printable cards are ready to print onto the patterned {or solid color} cardstock of your choice {8.5x11} - simply trim in half vertically and horizontally - attach your flower clips to them, embellish with the washi tape of your choice and you are all set. Wouldn't these cards look pretty set out on the plates of your guests at a bridal brunch where you "pop" the question to your girls?

As a bonus, with your order at Novia En Perla - you will receive a free set of "I Do" and "Me Too" rhinestone stickers - I LOVE these. They would be perfect for the bottoms of your wedding shoes and don't forget to have your photographer capture a photo of your soles. And, if you sign up for the Novia En Perla monthly newsletter, you will receive 20% OFF on your first order.

As you can see in the photo above, the craftsmanship of these flower clips is top notch. Another favorite of mine from Novia En Perla is the Queen Sized Bridal Flower Clip that can be either worn with the clip or the pin. Wouldn't this be the perfect flower to embellish your dress sash with? Don't you just love the detail in the center of the flower and all those ruffled petals?

Cupcake Themed Bridal Shower - Part 1

I wanted to share an idea for a cupcake themed bridal shower with you. Why not offer cards to your guests asking them to offer their sweet advice for the bride-to-be? I've created a printable bridal shower advice card that you can print on your own printer {I suggest heavy card stock} and cut out. It's a pdf with 4 cards to an 8.5x11 sheet. Print as many times as needed for the number of cards you desire and then simply cut the paper in half and then each in half again.

PS - This post was also supposed to have an inspiration board with it. But, we ended up losing power for several hours and then our wireless router died, resulting in no internet connection. A new router had to be purchased and installed which took much longer than it should have. So... please be on the lookout for the inspiration board either later today or tomorrow. update: cupcake themed inspiration board can be seen here

And lastly, the cupcake shop directory will be published later this week. Please let me know what your favorite cupcake shop is and it's location for inclusion in the growing list. update: directory of cupcake shops can be seen here

Free Digital Photobooks from Inkubook

Laura from Inkubook has provided me with a great offer that I have to share with you.
Inkubook is a new collaborative photo book making web site and to help celebrate their recent launch, Inkubook is giving away free digital scrapbooks. Digital scrapbooks are an ideal way for a bride to create a professionally-bound photo album with pictures from their wedding or honeymoon trip. The pre-made page designs are ideal for busy newlyweds – you simply drag and drop your pictures into the pages. For advanced digital scrapbookers, custom page designs can be used as well – you don't have to stick with the pre-made designs. These photo books are even perfect for engagement photos, guest books, and gifts for the parents . . . the ideas are endless.

To receive your free digital scrapbook from Inkubook, simply follow these three steps:
1. Sign up with Inkubook and start making your free digital scrapbook
2. Using the "Invite Friends" feature, invite someone to join Inkubook and submit a few photos/page designs to include in your book. Inkubook will send them a promotion code to use for a free digital scrapbook.
3. When you're finished with your free digital scrapbook, enter this promotion code at checkout: EJR372. You pay only shipping charges to receive your free book. (Basic shipping options are $6.99 for Media Mail and $8.99 for Standard Ground)
