Stylish Wedding Goodie Bags : Say it with a Sweet Treat
When it comes to weddings and saying either "Welcome to our Wedding Weekend" or "Thanks for Sharing our Special Day", you can never go wrong when including a Goodie Bag that's filled with sweet treats and the saying of your choice. I'm always a tad partial to a chocolate chip cookie in a goodie bag, but, what type of sweet is your favorite for a goodie bag? Please share in the comments.
Today, Daisy Days joins us with some of their most popular and delicious sweets you can include in your Goodie Bags - along with some of the best bags to place them in {some of them can even be personalized for your event}. Wedding Candy and Mint Favors always seems to be a popular choice - including the chocolate bars, gum and gumball favors and the mint favors. You might even like the jelly beans or lollipops.

Clever Centerpiece Ideas : Topiaries for Holiday Weddings

I've recently found four super unique and pretty topiaries that are just perfect for centerpieces at holiday weddings {or any holiday parties} you might be planning.

Unique Topiaries for Centerpieces at Holiday Weddings and Parties

1. Edible Fruit Topiary : I LOVE this topiary with the strawberries. This would also be fun for a summer bridal shower {minus the star at the top}.
2. Scented Fir Tree : This particular tree is available on etsy and is made from spices - how awesome is that? You will find cloves, peppers and coffee beans on this tree.
3. Moss Topiary : These styrofoam cone tree topiaries are covered with moss and are placed inside of weathered terra cotta pots. They look super pretty with flickering candles surrounding them.
4. Edible Sweet Topiary : This tree is super festive and sweet being all covered in peppermint candies and sugared fruit slices.

Quick and Easy DIY Valentine's Day Candy Bags with Conversation Hearts and Washi Tape

Today's it's all about hearts on the blog. Coming up a bit later, I'll have ideas for a Heart Wedding Theme. But, first I have the simplest of ideas for Valentine's Day. Simply take a small glassine bag, fill with conversation hearts {or candy of your choice} and seal closed with washi tape. I used a heart paper punch and added hand written sayings to them to resemble the hearts inside.

Other ideas include . . .
1. write your guests name on the heart {or another shape} and have a bag at each place setting
2. write thank you on the tag and have the bags serve as a favors
3. you can even use rubber stamps if you'd rather not hand-write

I personally think the tags look super cute when attached with mini clothespins. And, looking beyond Valentine's Day, these little candy bags would of course make cute place setting favors for showers or weddings - you can even color coordinate the tape and candies to the party.
