A Handmade Holiday : Day 4 : unique and whimsical bouquets

We're now on Day Four of the Handmade Holiday feature on my blog. Today's spotlight is on RBK Creations, a mother and daughter team using Buttons, Satin, Felt, Organza, you name it. Brenda (the mother) and Ariela (the daughter) have worked with brides from all over the world, creating unique and whimsical bouquets. They are most known for their button bouquets but their line has expanded into numerous materials as well as new pieces for the bridal party. They now have storefronts on Etsy.com and Wedzu.com. Their work has recently been featured in Brides Magazine and Get Married Magazine.

Custom Embroidered Felt Bridal Button Bouquet, $125
This bouquet consists of 20 embroidered felt flower stems. Each stem has a stack of 1-4 buttons. Can be created in any color combination to match your overall theme. Brenda and Ariela are now taking orders for late winter and spring. If order is placed before Dec 25th, they will include a free Groom Boutonniere.

A Set of Custom Bridal Button Bouquets and Boutonnieres, $334

Button Bouquets

Earlier today I featured a Real Wedding from Otto Schulze Photographers where the bride carried a button bouquet created by RBK Creations on etsy. The etsy shop currently has 106 items for sale. Holy Cow!!! That's a lot of buttons. Along with the wedding bouquet, you can also have boutonniere's, bridesmaid bouquets, flower girl bouquets, cupcake toppers, and bouquets for everyday decorating created. I'm only featuring a teeny tiny preview of all the items available online - but one of my favorites has to be the bouquet in the tea pot. How stinkin' cute is that? Perfect for bridal shower centerpieces and then you could give them away as take home gifts. (their only $25 each)

Real Wedding : Tracy and Paul in Colorado

Today's Real Wedding is filled with the most amazing eye candy and it's all about the details . . . with buttons. Super cute and yet so classy. I love all the colors in this wedding, which perfectly fits the ceremony/reception location at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. Ashley and Heather of Table 6 Productions put together a stunning wedding and Otto of Otto Schulze Photographers captured every single detail perfectly.

And, the bouquet . . . Wow!!! It's made of buttons (a great eco-friendly option as it can be displayed and kept after the special day) and was made by the talented etsy shop Real Bad Kitty {RBK Creations}.
Thank you so much Otto for sharing this fun wedding with us. To see more images from Tracy and Paul's wedding, please visit the Otto Schulze Photographers Blog. Do check back early this afternoon to see some of the "cute as a button" bouquets created by RBK Creations.
