Bride's Head Revisited : stunning bridal accents

guest blogging with Stephanie of Couture Parties

This morning I'm so happy to have Stephanie of Couture Parties joining me on the blog. I wasn't able to attend the recent Bridal Market in NYC, but Stephanie was so kind to visit with Bride's Head Revisited on my behalf. Here is what Stephanie had to say after visiting their booth at the market . . .

We all know I love details. When walking into the booth of Bride's Head Revisited, I immediately knew that these designers want brides to have an experience on their wedding day. The day of two options, mantilla and finger tip length veils is long gone. Head bands, which were on every runway at the bridal designer fashion shows, were stunning. From a simple satin ribbon with a dainty crystal embellishment, to a full crystal head piece. All options are available from this hand crafted designer. A trend that I am seeing amongst my own brides is no veil. A simple haircomb or brooch is worn in the hair to replace the veil.

We can also go the route of 2 veils, traditional or heirloom for the ceremony, then followed by a change into a birdcage veil for the first dance and remove it before dinner and insert a brooch with feathers/flowers and crystals for the cake cutting and dancing. There are no "rules" for your headpiece, always remember it is your day, and you can do what you would like.

The following is from the Bride's Head Revisited press kit:
Founded in 2002 by Alexandra Augustine and Emily Martin as a hand sewn bridal veil line, Bride's Head Revisited quickly evolved into a brand that continues to exceed the expectations of brides around the world. Today, Bride's Head Revisited creates stunning bridal accents that combine tradition and style, to give each bride the perfect finishing touch on her special day. Currently, the company offers traditional and French veils, crystal combs, headbands, hairpins, silk flowers, garters, and pillows.
