Customizable Wedding Invitations from David's Bridal

sponsored post

I know David's Bridal is well-known for the affordable wedding gowns, but they also have endless options to make your wedding invitations and stationery an expression of your personality. There's hundreds of styles to choose from not their web site, including the DB Exclusive Invitations. Each invitation can be customized with your choice of ink color, wording and typestyle. You can even add a ribbon accent and a lined inner envelope for the perfect finishing touch.

And, you can easily preview your custom wedding invitation with the David's Bridal online previewing system before you make your purchase. Also, I liked the two videos they have available for viewing that showcase bow tying and stationery trends, they're definitely worth taking a peek at.

Lastly . . . don't forget about their limited time offer to receive free invitation samples. You can choose your favorite styles and accent colors so you can see the David's Bridal quality in person.

When I saw Cathy Empey post photos from her shoot of the new Garden Party Collection from Breathe Couture Designs, I knew it was a must feature. Not only is Cathy's photography breathtakingly gorgeous, but Jennifer's jewelry and accessories are beautiful. The unique collections at Breathe Couture currently feature jewelry and accessories with clothing to come. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and is constructed of at least 50% recycled and repurposed materials. Many of the pieces Jennifer creates are constructed using vintage jewelry, ribbons and laces. Some of the materials date from as far back as the late 1800s. Below is a sampling of the many spectacular creations from Jennifer. To see the full collection that is currently available, please visit the Breathe Couture shop on etsy.

Real Wedding : beautiful beach wedding with the proposal story

I think this might be one of the first real weddings I've featured where I received the proposal story to accompany the photos. The South Carolina beach wedding of Jennifer and Anthony was photographed by Shelly of Belle Rouge Studio. The beach portraits of both the couple and the bride are simply stunning. It doesn't get much better than a picture perfect blue sky and sand. {Proposal story is after the photos}

I think the photo below of the bride is gorgeous in her undergarment - it's a wedding day take on the "boudoir" photos. A great idea.

The following black and white photos are amazing - just look at the lighting? They're dramatic and artistic - just great photos.

Thank you so much Shelly for sharing the wedding of Jennifer and Anthony with my readers today. To see more from Belle Rouge Studio, please visit her web site and blog.

Wedding Vendors:
Flowers: Flowers by Sue
Dress Designer: Martina Laina {purchased at Laraine's Bridal Boutique, Atlanta, GA}
Venue: Westin Resort & Spa, Hilton Head Island, SC {Francesca Ney was the coordinator}
Rings: Benny's Jeweler, Atlanta, GA
Cake: Publix bakery, Hilton Head Island, SC

And now, here's the story of how Anthony proposed to Jennifer as told to Shelly:

Sometimes the right proposal is more a matter of timing and opportunity than planning. I had purchased my bride to be's ring a while back and had not figured out just how to present it to her. As fate would have it, she found an old jewelry box in the night stand months prior and asked me about it at least once a month. Despite me telling her that it was not for her, she persisted in inquiring about it's contents. Thanksgiving morning, 2009, we were preparing to go to my parents house for a family gathering. I knew that I wanted her to arrive as my fiancee for the event. This time I brought up the subject of the box. She immediately began inquiring again about its contents. I asked her if she REALLY wanted to know what was in the box. She screamed YES!! I asked her to get the box and open it. Eagerly, she opened the drawer and retrieved the box. The look of disappointment on her face when she opened the box was memorable. Sensing that I needed to salvage this moment lest my bride makes herself a widow, I stated to her that "if you had simply looked behind the old jewelry box you would have found this",  a new jewelry box. I retrieved the new box and opened it. "Will you marry me?"  Inside was the ring she told me she wanted. Fortunately she said yes and forgot all about her widow making tendencies. I am a blessed man in more ways than one.

I can't help it, I love hearing proposal stories, don't you?
