Today's gorgeous beach wedding of Emily and Scott took place in Montauk, NY which as the bride explains "is a small laid back town that gives you the feeling that you are not in New York anymore." Emily also wrote, "We picked Montauk because my husband has been going there since a child and when I first met him he would talk about Montauk but I never went. Our first vacation together was to Montauk and I fell in love and from then on we refer to Montauk as 'our special place'."

Emily says she didn't have a specific theme or color, but her bridesmaids held calla lilies which are her favorite flowers and they wore chocolate brown dresses which happens to be another favorite color. The beautiful photographs are by Photography by Verdi and I just love the sweet calmness that comes from the photos.

What a fabulous event! I love that the couple had so many unique touches that truly let their personalities shine through. The shot of the bride holding her dress up in the water is so candid and you can see her raw emotion. Superb photography and adorable couple!

I love weddings near the beach! I really like the reception venue. Love the all white, very classy!
