The winner is Amy C who wrote: "I read this blog religiously and can't believe this week's giveaway centers around peacocks! I had the absolute WORST time choosing colors for my April 30, 2011 wedding and my mother kept asking me what they were. Finally, a friend suggested a peacock theme and it was a definite AHA! moment. I love all the bold, rich colors involved and they would fit with my outdoor bay-front San Diego wedding perfectly. I asked my fiance what he thought and he said, "I love it! Peacocks are natural beauties just like you" (I can't wait to marry this man). Since then, I've been obsessed with all things peacock; Did you know they are the national bird of India (a country I recently visited and LOVED) and they were revered in many ancient cultures? It's a great wedding theme and I couldn't be more excited. We are paying for the wedding ourselves so this would help immensely! Oh, and I've been eyeing that silk peacock brooch ever since the Emici Bridal giveaway a few weeks ago... Thank you all for the generous prize!"
