Winner Announced : $50 Shopping Spree at Emici Bridal

This past week we were joined by Marie of Emici Bridal on etsy with a $50 shopping spree to her wedding accessory and gift shop. It's now time to announce a winner. I asked entrants to leave a comment letting me know what their favorite item or items were from Emici Bridal.

Thank you to everyone who entered. The winner is Alison who wrote: "Our wedding is October 10, 2010 ... 10.10.10 :) I have been looking forever for a flower to wear in my hair for the wedding, and I totally LOVE the Silk Dupioni Rapture Rose Brooches in Chocolate, Copper, and Golden ... they would be perfect with my dress. The Ivory Silk Chiffon Rhinestone Flower would be perfect as well."

Congratulations Alison - I'll be emailing you personally today for your mailing address. Please note: winner(s) have 48 business hours to reply or another winner will be selected.

Stay tuned for another giveaway to launch in just a bit . . .

From one Allyson to another :)

Congratulations on your win, Alison!

On a personal note, my fiance proposed to me using a pillow that he purchased from Emici Bridal. He attached my engagement ring to it, and dropped to one knee *swoon* The pillow is absolutely gorgeous! Stunning workmanship. Everyone who sees it "ooh's and ahh's" every single time. It's now part of our love story, and we plan to feature it prominently on our wedding day :)

Congratulations Alison! I look forward to being able to work with you soon to create a perfect accessory for your beautiful wedding. There were so many wonderful comments I am sure it was hard for Brenda to pick the winner. Hopefully I will be able to have another giveaway soon.

Also to Allyson. That is such a beautiful story that you shared, it really blew me away. Every item that I create is very special to me and to know that story behind one of my creations is truly amazing. To be part of your love story is such a priviledge. Thank you for writing that!

Hi Marie! *waves*

You are most welcome! :) My fiance purchased your pillow that contained a lime green double faced satin ribbon, with a stunning antique brooch attached. It sparkles *almost* as much as my engagement ring *wink*

Once I have some professional quality pictures, I will drop a line over at your own website, and show them to you, if you would like?

"Thank you" for making us such very special treasures :)

Hi Allyson!

I thought that was the pillow! I remember your fiance purchased it and he did not want you to be able to tell what was inside the box when I shipped it because it was a suprise for you. That is the sweetest thing ever! Your pillow came together from different sources to become what it is now. There is a lot of history in it and what a beautiful story!!! Of course if you sent me pictures I would just be thrilled. Pictures are my favorite thing about what I do and I treasure them dearly.

Thank you again so much for sharing and I will be thrilled to hear from you again.

10/10/10 seems to be a popular date! Its the date we are choosing too, waiting for my fiance to get back from Afghanistan safely!
