Real Wedding : Kate + Mark {with an afternoon rowboat ride}

Today's Real Wedding was sent to me from Brian of Brian Hatton Photography {a NYC based photographer}. The couple Kate and Mark were married on August 15th and are both professional performing and teaching musicians in NYC. Kate spent less than $10,000 on this beautiful New Hampshire wedding. By incorporating homemade and donated services and items, Kate was able to create the look of a much more costly event. {more details of the wedding are mixed in with the photos}
The wedding was held at a cottage that had been in the groom's family for generations. There is such a sense of peace and calm with this wedding - which is much different than the couple's home in Manhattan.
The wedding music was performed by the bride's friend harpist Kristi Shade and violinist Ariana Rosen. And, the groom's father built the benches that the wedding guests sat on.
The bride's dress was purchased new from an online retailer which helped her save some money and the veil made by a lady in NYC that makes the veils just for fun.
And, I LOVE the romantic element of the bride and groom rowing off into the afternoon sun on the lake.
Thank you to Brian of Brian Hatton Photography for sharing this lovely wedding with my readers today. To see more of Brian's wedding photography, please visit his website and blog.

I was going to ask what the venue for this wedding was until you mentioned that it was a family cottage. What a fantastic setting.
