Deep Purple and Green Weddings {Inspiration Board}

I was recently introduced to the work of Maria-Thérèse at Afiori and I'm so intrigued by her Fine Art Photographs that I wanted to use one of them as the starting point for an inspiration board. {her Visual Poetry 4, Purple Rain can be seen in the top middle row below}. I'm a huge fan of the popular color purple in weddings. Here I combined it with green and black for a bit of a more dramatic feel.

Purple is very dramatic indeed! These images are so strikingly beautiful. Pairing purple with green makes it feel very elegant and glamorous. I think my Leaves of Love Pocket wedding invitations would go well with the other items in this inspiration board. However, those scrumptious-looking cupcakes and those cute shoes have inspired me to create some new, more romantic designs. Thanks for sharing!

Purple is definitely the 'in color' this year and it looks amazing, the contrast between the purples and the whites add a dimension of sophistication that very for other colors can. Wonderful pictures.

How beautiful! We both must have been inspired to blog about this gorgeous color for the fall . . . you can see my post about plum and berry eco-friendly wedding invitations at http://green-wedding.net/blog/ See entry right after Harrison Ford!
