Navy Blue and Yellow Wedding {with calla lilies}

Ideas and Inspirations | Photos and Galleries
Color Palette: navy blue and yellow
Motif: calla lilies

Today's inspiration board was created after Kricia of Kricia Morris Photography asked if anybody had any yellow and blue wedding inspiration boards created. She has a bride that is planning a wedding and wants yellow calla lilies with navy blue dresses. Oh . . . and she's anti-beach, so the look is a classic, elegant, garden setting. I set to work right away to put something together for her, and this is what I've come up with. I found the wedding cake and then stumbled upon the invitation which I thought was a terrific pairing with the cake detailing. I kept the bouquet subdued and went all out with a yellow one for the bridesmaids so there was a wonderful contrast between the yellow and the blue of their dresses. I love adding the blueberries into the champagne for the extra little pop of blue. And, for those that might be wondering, according to iflorist, calla lily means Majestic Beauty.

PS: this is the first board I've put together where I've had specifics to adhere to. I typically pick a theme on my own and go with it. I enjoyed the challenge with this one - thank you Kricia for letting me put this together for you and your bride.
