Eye Candy Friday : v17

Now, I know some people say balloons are a definite no at a wedding, but honestly, just look at these beautifully captured photos from the talented Chenin Boutwell of Boutwell Studio. What a fun and happy element they add to the celebration. For my own wedding, I would have had white balloons (not this size though), but my florist hadn't secured them in his van. So, as you can imagine - he opened the van doors and up they went into the sky. As silly as it may sound, if you are having balloons at your wedding, you might want to ask and make sure they will be secured for transportation.
You can see more from the above wedding of Kim and Mel on Chenin's blog.

The next set of photos is from a photo shoot for Jesi Haack Weddings and Events who is the process of re-branding. The gorgeous bouquets are from JL Designs and each one is just stunning. Photography was provided by Ryel J.
The above featured bouquets include:
1. monochromatic mixture of fuschia ranunculas, roses and tulips
2. curly willow branches and white balsa wood flowers (note: it's a sustainable bouquet since these particular flowers won't die and can be re-used)
3.
eggplant mini calas surrounded by black feathers
4. monochromatic and monobotanical bouquet of all antique yellow roses

You can see more from the photo shoot on the JL Designs blog.

You are right that balloons are now becoming a part of wedding, apart from their conventional use in birthday parties.I think balloons add another layer of colors and fun in a wedding event. So why not have them !!!!!
