Eye Candy Friday : v12

Today I could only manage to do a quick Eye Candy Friday post as I'm hoping that taking a rest will help me feel better for the weekend. Still can't get rid of whatever ails me. {past eye candy friday editions can be seen here: v1, v2, v3, v4, v5, v6, v7, v8, v9, v10, v11}

DIY Cake Balls {favor idea}
I found this photo on Etsy from Bright & Beautiful. For only $5, you can have the recipe and create these adorable little cake balls yourself. They can then be decorated for an occasion using any flavor combination. I love how this photo showcases them - how cute would this be for a bridal shower favor?

update: from Bright and Beautiful - she emailed me and wrote:
from now until April 10th, if you visit her etsy store and contact her with your email address and mention "Brenda's Wedding Blog", she'll send you the recipe for FREE ;)

I can't believe she is charging for the recipe/howto. For free, just visit http://bakerella.blogspot.com/.

that is true but i think if you're old school like me i like to have a printed recipe with step by step directions. plus it says it includes packaging ideas and where to buy the cheapest supplies. could be good

p.s. there are some sellers on etsy that are making homemade ones that ship out. but then there's always the issue with food handling
