Real Wedding : it's all in the details and the "First Look"

Today's lovely destination wedding of Sarah and Brent is from Aida of Krgin Photography and took place at St. Simons Island, GA. The "Crystal Wedding Tree" was Sarah's inspiration for the decor and she wanted a feathery and fun feel. I love how it turned out and the brides dress is gorgeous! Sarah's colors for decorations and linens were espresso brown, a nile blue and green. Aida describes Sarah and Brent's special day as a simple but sophisticated wedding. {for those interested in finding out more about the Crystal Wedding Tree, please click here}

Sarah and Brent's wedding was held at the Ocean Lodge in St. Simons for their wedding. The lodge has an event planner who takes care of all the details and Aida says "they are really considerate of your vision for the day and the Ocean Lodge is a beautiful destination for a wedding".

The following was provided to me from Aida:
"After the bride and groom were ready they had what is now becoming a very popular thing, "The First Look". This is a romantic opportunity for them to see each other for the first time before the ceremony. You would think that this ruins the emotion of seeing each other for the first time when she's walking down the aisle, but no. That was such an emotional moment we all cried.

After the First Look, there was time to photograph the couple with no family, no bridal party, no guests to distract them from this emotionally tender moment. A great experience I'd recommend to any couple. They then went back to their own suites to freshen up for the ceremony."

Seen below is a terrific montage of all the wedding details from Aida:

Part of the wedding experience was a Trash the Dress the following morning which took place in Jekyll Island where the couple got engaged.

And, this last image is such an amazing use of light, what a great capture.

Congratulations to Sarah and Brent on a beautiful wedding and thank you to Aida for sharing these photos with my readers. To see more from Aida of Krgin Photography, please visit her web site and blog. And, if you'd like to see more from the above wedding, please click here for the slideshow.

The brides dress is beautiful! And I'm in love with the bicycle shot! Too cute.

The bride's dress is fabulously stunning. It quite matched her gorgeous hair!!.I love the bicycle shot too, very romantic and looks so naturally fun. Such great shots!!!
Oh and one more thing, the Ocean Lodge is a great backdrop for the photo shoot with its grand Mediterranean architectural design. I would recommend such a great place to friends.Nice shots!!!

I have to say Aida of Krgin Photography works magic with a camera, but it is hard for a bridal picture to turn out bad.
