Real Wedding : cookies, candy and a candle infused reception

Today's Real Wedding comes to us from the amazing Canadian wedding planner Madeline's Weddings and Events and was photographed by Curtis Moore Photography. Michelle and Chris booked Madeline for a full service planning and decor package. Madeline says "the flowers, the decor, the music, the cake, cupcakes and candy buffet were just some of the details we adored working on". Madeline's Weddings and Events also worked on finer details that included the stationery, the ceremony design and the signature drinks. According to Madeline, "the bride wanted her reception to be spectacular" and as these photos show... it was nothing short of spectacular. Just wait until you see the last photo montage of the candy and cookie buffet, so yummy and such lovely displays.
Isn't this cake gorgeous? It was created by Charleen of Tantalizing Treats.
What a gorgeous wedding from Madeline's Weddings and Events with beautiful photos from Curtis Moore Photography. Congratulations Michelle and Curtis and thank you Madeline and Curtis for sharing the wedding with my readers today. The wedding is looking amazing but i feel that if they've used any exciting wedding idea then they would have taken their wedding to a next level. The overall wedding its perfect but still you know that wedding theme or idea seems to be missing. Being an event manager I always suggest my clients to use a wedding party idea.

This wedding is absolutly beautiful. No need for any theme what so ever. Madeline worked some wonderful magic for this bride for sure.

And as for the cake - well I'm in love with it. One of these next weddings that my hubby and I have (we renew our vows ever decade) I want to go all out and have all the great things that were never available to me when we got married the first time!! A spactacular cake will be on my list!

As a wedding and event planner, I have to respond to Richard's comment "about taking it to the next level". (no offence to your business and how you work with your clients )Wedding receptions are not a competition. A wedding is supposed to reflect the happy couple, not what is going to make the media think it out shines the next couple. I think this wedding is gorgeous! As you can see in the photos, the couple is happy as well as their attendants, no need for a "theme" in my opionon. Kudos to the event planner who made it about the couple.

Hello All,

I am the bride from this wedding, and I just have to say how much I enjoyed reading these comments. Our wedding was AMAZING, everyone who worked with us gave us more then 100%.

Madeline honestly made this wedding experience so enjoyable, and I will always tell people how amazing our wedding experience was for us here in Winnipeg! The decor was exactly what we wanted and it was a true reflection of Chris and I as a couple! Madeline and her team from day one always kept us in their mind when helping us plan and giving us ideas that they would know we would adore.

The day I emailed Madeline was the best email I could have sent regarding our wedding choices. She was AMAZING from start to finish. She has done the research and it shows. I always felt as though I was the only client she had, and that is a HUGE reflection of her as a business person. I can now say she is a dear friend of mine and I am so proud of her and her business.

We went in there on our first meeting saying what we wanted, and it totally came into real life.

Thank you to Michelle and Chris for giving me the opportunity to design their wedding cake, and to Curtis Moore who took the wonderful photograph.
