Etiquette strictly forbids listing where you've registered on your invitations, so enlist your families, bridesmaids and groomsmen to spread the word - tactfully, please!

I don't know, this is kind of redic. You're getting married, you're registered somewhere. Don't make it a game. It's more awkward to ask than to have it on the invites.

Rachel - this is a wedding etiquette rule, no registry info in the wedding invitations, however, it's perfectly ok to include the registry details in pre-wedding invitations, ex. bridal shower invites. Check out Peggy Post's further explanation here on why you should not include the registry details with the invitation.
