Eye Candy Bridal Shoes

I've noticed that Amy Squires (one of The Wedding Chicks, and cover photographer for Susie Coelho's Style Your Dream Wedding), has been photographing brides wearing white dresses with what I would call "eye candy bridal shoes". I love seeing the pop of color show from under the dress. I thought to myself . . . "what a unique touch". And, on Tuesday's blog post at The Wedding Chicks - they wrote about Amy's amazing shots that include bride's shoes and how "one of her most popular tips is for the bride to wear some fancy colored shoes that match their theme." My wedding colors were navy blue and yellow (sunflowers were the main flower). We had a garden wedding reception, and I think I could have seen myself wearing a sunny yellow pair of shoes. What about you? Would you consider straying from the traditional white shoe and wearing one with color?

I too love adding color to wedding dresses with bright shoes. I have a real passion for shoes and I am totally going to wear hot pink or bright blue heels on my wedding day!
