Real Wedding: Brittany & Jarrod in Florida

I'm sure some of you have probably seen this Real Wedding from over the weekend at Southern Weddings. After seeing this gorgeous wedding and the amazing story behind it, I had to ask Lara if she'd mind me featuring it. It was designed and produced by the very talented ladies from Bliss Event Group and photographed by Rae and Wes of Rae Leytham Photography.

The couple had originally planned to have their wedding at a rented beach house on Pensacola Beach, except Hurricane Ike brought tropical storm force winds, 20 foot high waves and 5 feet of storm surge. The result . . . conditions that were definitely not favorable for an outside wedding.

So, it was onto Plan B, 36 hours before Brittany and Jarrod were to say "I Do". The plan . . . creating the ultimate cocktail lounge at the Bliss office and arranging 90 guests inside Lara's parent's family waterfront home in Gulf Breeze for a seated dinner. (Lara is SW Editor-in-Chief and has known the bride, Brittany, since they were kids)

From the photos, it looks like the wedding had been planned for this location since the engagement. But, actually the entire Bliss team put this together 24 hours before the wedding start time. Absolutely amazing!

Below are some of the many photos from this wedding. Please be sure to visit Southern Weddings for even more stunning photos and details from the bride and groom. The wedding is featured in 5 parts - part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5. You can also see more photos at Rae Leytham's Blog.
